About Claire
I attended The University of Alabama and graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. ROLL TIDE!! I am currently attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to get my Master of Education and become a full-time math teacher. I tutored a lot during my undergraduate education, and I am excited to get back into it.
My philosophy is that life is all about doing hard things and having fun with them. Whether that is doing well in a math class or running a marathon (I have one coming up in March). Since math can be challenging, I want you to know that failure is okay, as that is how you grow!!

I am currently working as a high school math teacher assistant and my favorite part of the job is working with students one-on-one. I have found that every single one of my students can do the math once it is explained to them in a way that fits their individual needs.
Math teachers sometimes forget that math is a subject that can be taught with flexibility because they are held to a set of standards that do not always leave room for this. This can make math seem boring and impossible. I am here to show you that this is NOT the case!
I love all math, so I can help with any coursework you might have in high school (or college). My lessons will be adapted for you, so tell me what you need to work on, and we will approach an understanding of it together!
