About Joshua
I am a passionate individual and approachable tutor, with a talent for numbers and solving problems. I always enjoyed helping students out because not only do I get the chance to share my knowledge and interests, but teaching gives me a great opportunity to learn and grow alongside students. For those who struggle with math and science, I totally understand it's not always easy or intuitive for everyone. That's why I take a patient approach where we take every step to build confidence at your pace!

My lessons target middle school, high school, and early college students on math, computer science, and physics.
My teaching style emphasizes on mastering the basics and understanding why things work. I also focus on a visual style with whiteboard explanations. This helps me breakdown concepts and provide challenging questions and examples to build critical thinking. Given my research and tutoring experience, I connect theory to real-world applications, making learning much more practical and interesting.
