About Christina

I have been teaching for 6 years over a small homeschool group. I have also popped into the public schools on occasion to help with a one-off lesson here and there. I've spent significant time with gifted education, neurodivergence, and also learning disabilities. No matter where your kid is at, I am confident that progress can be made in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

About the lesson

I am currently in the middle of my master's degree in a heavy science field. My emphasis is in microbiology, but I have a strong foundation in mathematics, chemistry, and biology.

I enjoy working with children of all ages and skill levels up through high school. I prefer to take a child centered approach where I try and make my lessons tailored to the child's learning style and interests vs merely teaching to a test. I want to work on full understanding, not memorizing and regurgitating.
