About Maximilian

I bring several years of tutoring experience, with over three years supporting students in different subjects and at different academic levels, which has allowed me to develop a reliable and adaptable teaching approach. Having studied in multiple educational systems, notably in France and Canada, I am familiar with different teaching methods and expectations, and I know how to adjust my explanations accordingly. I am currently a graduate student and previously studied at a highly selective high school in France, which has given me a strong academic foundation and a clear understanding of what academic success requires. Beyond results, I strongly believe that progress comes from confidence: I take the time to encourage students, help them trust their abilities, and approach learning with motivation rather than stress. My goal is to combine seriousness, clarity, and empathy to provide professional, trustworthy support that helps students succeed while feeling supported and confident in themselves.

About the lesson

I take a calm, supportive, and well-structured approach to tutoring, with the goal of helping students feel confident and make steady progress. Each session follows a clear routine: we start by reviewing the lesson together to make sure the student truly understands the key points, then move on to exercises to practice and apply what was learned. I adapt my explanations to each student’s pace and needs, and I take the time to reassure them, answer questions, and build confidence, especially when they feel stuck or discouraged. I closely monitor progress over time and keep parents informed so they always know how things are going and what the next steps are. My lessons are aimed at high school, secondary school, and CEGEP students, whether they need regular support, help with specific difficulties, or preparation for exams. My priority is to create a trusting and positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
