About Megan
I have previous experience in the classroom on multiple grade levels and worked as a tutor while in college, largely in math. I am patient and want to see the success of my students. I, also, can present information in multiple ways to build understanding or help make connections for learners. I have a deep interest in history and making the connections of why discoveries were made or how they had effects on the world in connection. Additionally, I just enjoy trivial facts and obscure knowledge. As a parent, I want my children to have a broad and well-rounded education; I will provide similarly for yours.

I have previously taught: first, fifth, and ninth grade. I know and understand what skills are needed as kids progress in their education and am knowledgeable in connecting material to students' interests or career and daily life as an adult. I enjoy assisting students in making connections and asking insightful questions. I also have strong beliefs that everyone should know how to do their work by hand; it develops deeper comprehension in what it is you're doing and why.
