About Dylan
I am an experienced educator with a strong background in both K–12 and higher education. I’ve taught in more than 100 classrooms as a substitute teacher across California and also worked as a Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, where I led discussion sections and helped students strengthen their writing and critical thinking skills. I believe every student can grow with the right guidance, and I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs. My goal is to make reading and writing approachable, build lasting confidence, and help students find their own voice.

I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, using interactive reading practice, step-by-step essay coaching, and clear feedback to build confidence in language skills. A typical session might include reviewing assignments, guided reading or writing practice, and strategies for improvement. With experience teaching in K–12 classrooms and at the university level, I know how to adapt to any learning style.
Lessons are available for all ages — from early readers building vocabulary to college students refining research papers. Online or in person, with flexible scheduling.
