About Muhammad Ali
I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science and engineering from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka, Bangladesh which is a premier university in the field of Engineering and Technology in Bangladesh. Currently, I'm an Assistant Professor and a Ph.D. student at the Department of CSE, BUET. In 2020, I was awarded the SPECIES Internship Scholarship 2020 and thereby attended Lancaster University, UK, as a visiting research student.
My research expertise includes metaheuristics and their application in real-life optimization problems.

I teach based on a conceptual understanding and solving real-life problems. I start by motivating the students regarding the lessons. Then I show them some sample problems and encourage them to solve them using their basics. Once the students start to feel the necessity of understanding the underlying concepts I move towards teaching theory. Finally, I help them to properly solve the given problems.
