About Devany
I have been tutoring since I was in high school all the way up to now post-grad 4 years. I tutor because I love it and it is fulfilling! I have tutored all ages from 1st grade to college students in the past and have a wide range of subject matter knowledge.

I myself was always a visual learner; seeing the problem done in front of me and having the method explained always helped me retain the information. I know that is not the case for everyone; others are audio learners or need to have the concepts explained, etc. My approach to tutoring is not a one size fits all. Each individual is different and I want to do what works best for you. If we aren't sure what that is now, we can work together to find out! I specialize in Biology and science is my passion. I can tutor any science-based class 1-12th grade as well as college-level biology. I also have a deep knowledge of mathematics and can tutor up to Calculus 1. I also have a minor in Spanish and am fluent and would love to help anyone struggling with the language as well. If there is a specific subject you need help with that I have not listed, please reach out and I would be happy to review and see if I can help.
