About Leah
I am a multidisciplinary professional. I am a multi-instrumentalist, in 4 instruments, a painter, yoga teacher and studied in the sciences, graduating in 2023. I am currently studying fine arts at the top art school globally at the Royal College of Art doing my postgraduate diploma, hoping to follow with a master's. I have ADHD and am neurodivergent on the spectrum, and so I also have experience and have techniques to help other students alike who might struggle to organise themselves with/without diagnosis or with/without medication. I believe that the structure of teaching in schools is not always welcome to all minds and so I am trying to offer a more unique approach which allows my students to thrive and feel confident, rather than anxious and alone.

I teach by the curriculum and by the specifications. My methods are through topical repetitive practice of past papers, past questions and full coverage of all possibilities of examination solutions. I typically teach 1-hour sessions, asking the student which areas they are struggling with and tackle these areas until they feel confident. I like to set homework. I have 7 years' worth of tutoring experience, in Maths 11-18, IGCSE physics. I received A* A in Maths and Further Maths in A level 2019, a Maths award from University of Manchester, and 2.1 in my bachelor's degree.
