My approach to tutoring is student-centered, supportive, and adaptable. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace.
I teach by breaking complex ideas into manageable steps and using a mix of discussion, guided practice, worked examples, and independent problem-solving. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and goals while focusing on building both academic skills and confidence.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can adjust the length depending on the student’s needs.
I recently completed teacher education training and have experience supporting diverse learners in both classroom and outdoor education settings. Through this experience, I have developed strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
My lessons are best suited for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students across a range of subjects and ability levels.
