About Celestina
My name is Celestina Mac-Atom, and I am currently studying for my PhD at Teesside University. In 2020, amidst the pandemic, I completed my master's degree and decided to take up a PhD as my quest for knowledge grew. I decided to take up tutoring because I am passionate about learning and also enabling people achieve their academic goals in the easiest way possible. Being a student, I understand the challenges involved with going through so much material and still being a bit confused or not confident enough in your abilities. This is why I made the decision to try and help other students in need, going through what I went through and overcame, by making this process a bit bearable for my students. I try to do this by breaking down challenging concepts into more comprehensible bits, in a fun and engaging way.

I am a very passionate tutor whose utmost satisfacion comes from the total understanding of the lesson I am trying to relay. I try to make lessons fun wit the use of materials the would foster better understanding and comprehension. I have taught in different settings, physically and online, and i always get great feedback and on a number of occassions, constructive suggestions on how to make my lessons better. i go ahead and incorporate these suggesstions into my lessons, and that has worked out well so far. My lessons are designed for those getting readdy for the GSCEs or are at the A levels, and even those who have just gotten into the university. Each lesson aims to be within at least one hour a session. This hour is loaded with quality and relatable material that would help you better understand the lesson.
