About Melanie
I have 15 years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level. I still keep in contact with a handful of my students to this day! I am a mom of three. I have a daughter who has graduated college, a son who is a junior in high school, and another son who is a freshman. Although I did not stay in the classroom, I was always teaching and helping my three kids. I also tutored on the side to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.

I am passionate about learning and setting a strong foundation for learners which is why my attention has been on the elementary student. This age still has a desire and love of learning.
Setting a firm foundation with the beginning skills is so important for future success. I love finding unique ways to help the learner succeed and become confident in the skills that are struggling.
