Although I have a graduate degree and spend my time doing cutting edge math research I have tons of experience teaching math to students of all age groups. This means that I am knowledgeable and precise but I also possess the ability to explain things in reasonable and simple ways. I am capable of meeting students where they are rather than talking down to them.
