About Mauatua
I am a Pacific Islander writer, researcher, and tapa-maker, but I am first and foremost interested in helping uplift young people. I've been working with youth for the past five years and am committed to developing critical and creative thinking.

I have been tutoring university students for the past two and a half years and come to the classroom with an ethos of critical and creative thinking, inclusivity, and diverse methods of learning. Lessons are for all ages and levels and can last between 30 minutes and an hour.
