About Isabella

I’m not your average tutor—I balanced earning my Electrical Engineering degree (with highest distinction) while DJing events and playing club lacrosse at UVA. I know what it’s like to juggle a full schedule and still aim high. That’s why I bring energy, patience, and real-world perspective to every lesson. I’m here to help you not just learn, but actually enjoy the process. Whether you’re prepping for a test or just need someone to break things down clearly, I’ve got you.

About the lesson

I’ve worked as a teaching assistant for college-level math, including Ordinary Differential Equations, and I love helping students feel more confident in tough subjects.

My lessons are always tailored to the student’s needs. I start by identifying problem areas, then break down concepts with step-by-step examples and guided practice. I focus on building strong foundational understanding and encouraging questions along the way.

Whether you’re preparing for a test, catching up in class, or looking to get ahead, I’m here to help. I’ve worked with students from middle school through college, and I bring patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session.

Isabella is amazing! She guided me through my calculus class, even when I struggled. She created a fun, safe environment for me to make mistakes and learn from them, encouraging me to obtain a full understanding of any topic I was learning. I would absolutely recommend her for everything!
