About Shaistah

I am a graduate from Uoft with an Honors Bachelor’s of Science. I graduated with a double major in Human Biology and Cell and Molecular Biology and a minor in Immunology (with a GPA of 3.97) Currently I’m attending Queen’s University School of Medicine. I have lots of experience throughout my own schooling that tells me what subjects are important and what to focus on. With siblings in younger grades and helping them I have always been aware of the curriculum and methods of teaching. Beyond that, I have been privately tutoring for the past 3 years for science and math. All my students have increased their averages by 7-12% before the end of the year.

About the lesson

I make lessons very straightforward and easy to understand following the school curriculum. We’ll work together to figure out which method of learning works best for you and create a catered learning plan that works for your time and for your needs. I provide study notes, practice questions, in-class notes and help via text/email for any questions you need help with outside of tutoring hours.
