About Charlotte
I am very reliable and have always been studious, throughout high school and university. For my high school study, all the classes I took were at an advanced level minimum. This continued on to my university level, where I received a scholarship for my high grades. Whilst I do not have official teaching experience, I have a lot of experience as a highly ranked student and therefore have developed knowledge of what being a student entails. This has led to an awareness of what students need and what is needed for high marks. I am interested in teaching because I found my honours year and higher level university very rewarding. I would like to help other students also achieve this. I have a passion for academia and believe tutoring could fulfil this passion.

I like to tailor my teaching to my students. I am very flexible in my education style but believe it is important for students to regularly submit pieces of work we can then work through. I found at university, writing pieces of my thesis and submitting them to my supervisor led to the best product. I therefore will take this approach to lessons, expecting students to be able to produce a piece of work we can work on together, whether that be work I give them or work they have from classes. I also believe in depth explanations of literacy techniques are important, especially in higher level study. I will take my time to talk through this with students. I am also happy to give students my opinion on works they are looking to submit for an assignment.
