About Joey
I am a graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in neuroscience and working towards a second bachelor's in human physiology. I received a score of 1550 on the SAT, and I was able to improve my score significantly using my study methods. I also love math and science, and am able to tutor in a wide variety of subjects in that area apart from the SAT.

SAT prep consists mostly of understanding principles behind several question types that are common on the SAT- using my study methods I was able to raise my SAT score by over 300 points between the first and second try. Tutoring can be variable based on student, but to make best use of your time a typical plan involves doing some practice questions before the session on a specific set of topics, then looking at what gave you trouble, as well as repeating similar problems after talking them through.
