About Kenneth

I am a Jacksonville native. Some of my favorite subjects are art, history, science, and math. I spend all of my time watching documentaries about history. During my free time, I am working on some art and cooking for my family.

About the lesson

I possess significant experience in providing homework assistance, particularly in the subject of math. Over the course of the past seven years, I have diligently supported my aftercare students with their math assignments. Furthermore, for the last four years, I have also offered tutoring services in math to some of my students after regular work hours. My areas of mathematical expertise encompass elementary math, algebra, and certain aspects of geometry.

I treat my tutoring sessions as though they are therapy sessions. I asked thought-provoking questions in order to understand what the student is struggling with so that we can collaborate to solidify their understanding of the material. I incorporate real-life scenarios to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills while working on math problems. At the end of the session, I review what we covered to ensure the student retains the information and gains confidence in their learning.
