About Rejoice
I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with over four years of tutoring experience. Since high school, I have worked with students ranging from middle school to college level across a variety of subjects, including STEM courses such as math, science, and physics, as well as English, writing, and history. Through my tutoring experience, I have developed personalized teaching strategies rooted in the understanding that every student learns differently. Each student has their own pace, learning style, and strengths, and I strive to adapt my approach to meet their individual needs. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students understand the material, but also to help them better understand themselves as learners, recognizing their strengths, identifying areas where they may need additional support, and building the confidence and skills necessary for long-term growth and success.

My teaching methods and techniques are heavily dependent on my students. Each student has a different way of learning, so I typically establish their style or styles during our first meeting and incorporate interactive ways of learning the subject from there. Every session will not be the exact same, but they will maximize on the student's learning style and ensure they feel confident about what they've learned.
