About Victoria
A French native speaker, I recently graduated from the University of York with a Master's degree in Interpreting and Translation. I am passionate about learning languages, and using them as a bridge to enable communication between stakeholders and communities who speak different languages. I started to work as a tutor in April 2026, and have since discovered a real motivation in passing on my knowledge to others. Even more important, I find fascinating the fact of providing students with dedicated tools, seeing them progress step by step and growing confidence thanks to one small victory after another.

Typically, lessons last for two hours and are for all levels and ages – motivation is what matters! I always start the first lesson with an overall assessment of the student level in order to provide the more tailored sessions. If most of the classes are based on grammatical basics development, I always provide interactive and entertaining activities that align with the student objectives and preferred ways of learning. For example, this involves focusing on vocabulary enhancement and speaking skills through role play for students who want to feel more confident when communicating in a French-speaking country. I started giving one-on-one French tutoring lessons in April 2026, and I already noticed significant improvements in the student's skills and confidence.
