About Davina
I have graduated from the University of Lethbridge, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. I have taken many classes in Education, Child Psychology, and English Literature. I have spent the last 25 years working as an Early Childhood Educator in Kindergarten Enhancement and Out of School Care Programs. One of my key responsibilities was teaching children recognition and understanding of emotions, emotional regulation, in addition to resolution of conflict resolution skills, kindness, and compassion. I have experience in documentation and observation of children's learning through play activities, and planning a variety of art, literacy, science, and physical activities using the flight curriculum and emergent curriculum as a base.

If you are interested, in Harry Potter,for example, we will read and developsequels to the stories, as well as create our own literacy based Hogwarts School board game, and discover important aspects of plot, character development, and similarities between the fantasy world, and reality
