About Emma
I am an experienced writer with a passion for language and literature. As a graduate of USC's English Department, I have experience in all kinds of writing and editing, including essay writing, journalism, short fiction, poetry, translation, copy editing, developmental editing, and grammar & mechanics.
Additionally, I am a tutor and mentor with years of experience working with students of all ages. During my time at USC, I served as a Troy Camp counselor, where I helped high school students with homework, test readiness, and college applications.
I also served as an Undergraduate Student Consultant, helping foreign language speakers perfect their English grammar and communication skills.
I look forward to connecting and supporting your writing journey in any way possible!

My lessons are mostly for high school students who are writing college essays, preparing for tests, or who want to explore creative writing. That being said, I am open to working with students of any age.
In my lessons, students will be able to ask for specific advice about essays, grammar questions, and more, or request a more open learning plan to become a well-rounded writer for their desired career/life path.
