About Nicole
I am a graduate of the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!). I graduated with a degree in Humanities and Cultural Studies. I have been an ESL teacher for over 4 years. I teach children and adults of all ages and of different backgrounds.
I have several certifications: TESOL/ESL, American Sign Language, and a Reading Endorsement. I also have an Associate's Degree in Art Studies. I love creative writing and film studies.
As a hobby, I have appeared in a few films as a professional extra, as well as auditioning for voiceover work. I love Pop Culture and I enjoy hearing about your favorite hobbies as well. Learning about your cultures, and traditions helps me become a better teacher, and I appreciate learning from my students as well.
I have a Golden Retriever who is a big part of my life. He is silly, but he is also smart.
We will have a great time learning and speaking English in my courses.

My teaching method is somewhat simple. I learn about you, the student, and your likes and dislikes. What sets me apart from other instructors is I have a gift for creating lessons that involve topics that you, the student, enjoy. I will listen to your feedback and use that information, to guide our time together. A typical lesson plan will include your favorite subjects and I will use that subject to assist in areas you may need some improvement with. I build a strong rapport with each of my students and will do everything possible to make you successful in your learning goals. I teach all levels from beginner, to advanced. Suppose you are looking to improve your conversation skills. I'm the teacher for you.
I prefer to teach courses approximately 50 minutes in length but will be happy to alter the class time if needed.
