About Maya
I loved my time as a tutor. My favorite aspect about it was seeing the gears starting to turn for my students. Being able to help students with the language that I grew up speaking at home is something very special and personal for me. I have always been a bridge between the English and Spanish language!

Although my first language is English, I grew up speaking Spanish. This has allowed me to understand how a native English speaker's mind works and help students understand Spanish better. I have experience teaching students from 17-70 years of age. However, as my degree was for K-12, I am confident that I can teach any age!
