About Thomas
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in the History and Philosophy of Science. I have 3+ years of experience teaching Chemistry and Organic Chemistry and really enjoy sharing this knowledge and helping students grow. Ironically in high school, I hated chemistry but have since grown to love it! I really believe that everyone can succeed in this subject as well!!
Beyond this, I love teaching Neuroscience and philosophy concepts to students and can help coach pre-medical students on their journey. I really look forward to sharing all of this knowledge and my passion for these subjects with students!

I have extensive experience teaching and working individually with undergraduate students in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry at one of the top public research universities in the nation. Based on my educational background, I can also tutor in a range of subjects from Neuroscience to Physics to Philosophy courses.
I work with students to craft an individualized approach that best fits their learning needs. Typical lesson plans will focus on developing knowledge and enabling students to apply this knowledge and succeed in their courses. I will work with the resources I have developed to ensure that students not only succeed academically but foster a deeper knowledge of their subject.
My experiences teaching a wide range of diverse students has allows me to adapt to different student needs. My lessons are best suited for high school students and undergraduate students.
