About Hira
I am a practicing artist and teacher based in the South of England. I work with schools, sixth forms and individuals to develop conceptually rich portfolios.
My artistic practice explores folkloric landscapes and the role of women within stories across the globe. Nurturing new visual voices is a fundamental part of my work, I also learn a lot from the creative priorities of all my students.

With six years of experience, my passion is to nurture a unique visual curiosity in all of my students. With problem-solving at the heart of many of my lesson plans, I aim to create new avenues for research and development to help my students engage more critically with their work. This may include visual, academic or research based sessions that vary in length depending on individual needs.
