About Catalina
Hi, my name is Catalina! I am an International Media and Communications graduate from the University of Nottingham. I teach A-Level Psychology, Media Studies and English Language, and can also assist with any essay writing, homework or exam prep that you need.
During my academic experience, I achieved consistent As and A*s throughout GCSE and A-Level, always being a top-performing student in my year group.
I understand that the ‘one size fits all’ approach to learning isn’t practical, so I aim to adapt and adjust lessons to each individual to achieve the best results. The classes we provide are always fun and interactive, as staying engaged is KEY to successful learning.

My chosen approach to teaching includes using the online flashcard website, Quizlet, whilst using short YouTube clips where appropriate! I created hundreds of sets of flashcards while I was in Sixth Form, and due to being a visual learner, each Quizlet has corresponding pictures, which my students love.
My knowledge of the curriculum and exam expectations is excellent as I sat the exams a few years ago, and all of my resources are up to date!
I have been tutoring for a little over 3 years and have taught over 800 hours in total.
