I am a determined, creative teacher; I am confident in delivering the complexities of English study with a stripped down approach to teaching.and learning. Although I am supremely enthusiastic about my subject I am also aware that English study can feel daunting and abstract; many students face barriers to learning that need careful attention and I work hard to develop lessons that foster confidence and yield excellent learning outcomes..
Understanding the various ways in which students approach the complexities of literature is something I never tire of; students are reassured when they begin to break down and demystify aspects of literature; the confidence gained then enables them to explore and analyse the abstract with an assuredness that takes their progress forward.
