About Damien
I have attended the University of Florida, which is the highest-ranked school within my state. I have had many writing assignments for my scientific studies and recent research internship in Samos, Greece. I am also a lover of media and I love discussing movies, history, themes, and music with friends. I also love learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I believe that I will be able to form a strong bond with whomever I get as a student and hope to do my best to help them learn. I am also passionate about teaching English since my mother and many family members of mine are not native speakers and they have told me the importance of knowing English is for them.

I am willing to learn with my students
I believe that there is always an avenue for someone to learn something if they are committed.
My teaching of English will for sure make sure that my students have an understanding of the basics of the language and that they feel comfortable speaking with a native speaker.
I believe a good tool to learn is to assign some sort of media that the student will enjoy and conversating about the media together. This will help us find common ground on a topic that the student likes and will introduce many examples of the english language to dissect.
Another tool I would want to try is to ensure my students have a flexible palette of words and phrases so they can learn and adapt wherever they go.
