About Chris
I've been teaching now for over 5 years and my students have gone on to be successful in both receiving offers for Drama Schools and scoring highly in their LAMDA results. I have never had a student receive lower than a "merit" for LAMDA. Most of my students receive a distinction grade. I always said that I didn't want to be a teacher until I felt as though I had something unique to teach. So I only started teaching after having spent 6 years within the industry working as an actor at different levels. So I use a combination of my own techniques as well as techniques from practitioners such as Meisner, Stanislavsky and Uta Hagen.

My approach has always been to put the actor that I'm working with first. It's about how they approach the work and what works for them. I have over a decade of experience as an actor, and over five years' experience as a teacher. This means that my coaching is always tailored to the actor that I'm working with. There are so many techniques out there, but I will find the one that helps you become a naturalistic and emotive actor. I have also worked professionally as a director for over 5 years. And so have worked with a lot of different actors with varying methods. My lessons are for all ages. I have experience teaching both kids and adults. I have been a teacher for over 5 years. Working with all ages and abilities!
