About Ausch
I have always been academically driven and understand first-hand what it takes to succeed in a rigorous school and university environment. I achieved exclusively A* grades at GCSE and 42 points in the International Baccalaureate, before studying Politics and History at the London School of Economics and later completing a Master’s degree in Intellectual History at the University of St Andrews.
Having studied within highly demanding academic environments, I am very familiar with the expectations placed on students at GCSE, IB, A-level and university level, from exam technique and essay structure to independent research, critical analysis and effective revision. I particularly enjoy helping students strengthen the skills that underpin strong academic performance: constructing clear arguments, engaging critically with material, writing persuasively and approaching difficult topics with greater confidence.
I can also draw on my own experience of competitive university applications to support students with personal statements, course choices, academic preparation and interviews. I take my responsibilities as a tutor seriously and aim to be reliable, encouraging and intellectually engaged, while making students feel comfortable asking questions and working through areas they find challenging.

My tutoring approach is flexible and highly personalised, with lessons tailored to each student’s needs, learning style, goals and subject. I focus on building genuine understanding and confidence through clear explanations, discussion, structured exercises, essay planning and detailed feedback. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I am happy to adapt the length and format where helpful. I hold degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of St Andrews and tutor students from GCSE through IB and A-level to university level. I can also support students with university applications, including personal statements, academic writing and interview preparation.
