About Abigail
Hi! My name is Abigail. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Computer Science and am currently a graduate student at SMU studying accounting.
I’ve always enjoyed math and problem-solving, and my academic background has given me extensive experience in algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, and standardized test math.
I tutor middle school and high school students in math, including ISEE and SAT math preparation. I enjoy helping students strengthen their skills, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals, whether they’re preparing for an exam or looking for ongoing support during the school year.
I’m committed to creating a positive experience for every student I work with!

My approach as a tutor is patient, encouraging, and personalized to each student's learning style. I focus on creating a supportive environment where no question feels too small. I aim not to just help students get the right answer, but to understand why.
A typical lesson starts by identifying what the student is currently working on and where they’re feeling stuck. From there, we break concepts down step by step, work through examples together, and then practice similar problems until the student feels confident completing them independently.
My lessons are great for middle school, high school, and college students looking for support in math as well as students preparing for standardized exams such as the ISEE and SAT. Whether you need help with homework, test prep, or strengthening foundational math skills, I'm happy to help!
