In the regional Mathematics Olympiad, I was ranked 4th in my home state of Cumilla, Bangladesh. I have completed my Master's in applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Troy, NY, USA and now running my PhD in Mathematics From University at Albany, Albany, NY, USA.

I found the most interesting puzzles are hiding inside my math book in my childhood, so I started solving it. From then on, I got madly hooked to Mathematics. In my primary school, an unwritten rule used to be that is- don’t do shortcuts, like solving puzzles. I used to find the shortest way to solve the problem, which came in handy as I grew up and I am using these techniques for my students also to make them smarter.
