About Karen
As I said, I have more than 25 years of experience in education... ranging from 3rd grade through 12th grade. Most of this has been in the area of special education; with small groups, however, I returned to school in my 50s to get that degree and pursue the job that I always wanted. I think I best like working with small groups of people or one-on-one. It provides opportunity for better academic success and building relationships with students.

I have been an educator for more than 25 years in various school communities. I wanted to teach middle and high school English, not just to satisfy curriculum standards, but to show students that they are really important. Their goals and dreams are important. I believe that students are more successful when they have a teacher/tutor with whom they can build a relationship.
