About Ellie
My name is Ellie and I have just graduated from Oxford University. I am looking to pursue a career in teaching because I find connecting with students and enriching their lives incredibly rewarding. I love helping others to achieve their highest potential and getting to spend my time immersed in a subject that I love is an excellent bonus! I myself had a tutor during my A levels and they boosted my confidence greatly and helped to achieve top grades. I would love to be able to help someone else do the same. I have been tutoring for four years throughout university in a variety of subjects and cannot wait to take on more students now that I have a clearer schedule.

My favourite thing about tutoring has always been getting to know my students and their own individual learning styles. Everyone learns in different ways and it is incredibly important to adapt lessons to suit each student. In our first session we will chat about how you learn best (repetition, practice questions, tests, taking it slower) and your current level in the subject. I will then create a personalised lesson plan that will help you to thrive. Typical lessons last an hour, but I am very flexible and we can discuss what works best for you.
