About Rosie
Hi! I’m a Materials Science student at the University of Oxford with a strong passion for Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
I completed A-levels in all three subjects and particularly enjoy helping students understand the concepts that make STEM subjects so interesting.
Alongside subject tutoring, I can also provide guidance for university applications, including preparation for the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) and Oxbridge interviews. As someone who has been through the process recently, I aim to offer practical advice as well as academic support.
I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for science and helping others build confidence in their abilities. I believe that with the right support and approach, every student can make significant progress and achieve their goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether that’s improving confidence in a subject, achieving top GCSE or A-level grades, or preparing for university admissions tests and interviews.
I am currently studying Materials Science at the University of Oxford and completed A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Having recently gone through the admissions process myself, I can also provide support for the Physics Aptitude Test (PAT) and Oxbridge applications.
I focus on developing a strong understanding of fundamental concepts alongside effective exam technique. Lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s needs, combining clear explanations, worked examples, problem-solving practice, and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence in tackling unfamiliar problems independently.
My aim is not only to help students achieve their academic goals, but also to make challenging topics more accessible and enjoyable.
