I trained as an actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and have spent many years working professionally across stage, radio drama, and audiobooks. I specialise in regional accents and characterful material, with a particular love for both classical (including heightened and verse work) and contemporary text. I’m deeply interested in the theory behind acting — how realism, truthful connection, and strong monologue choices come together to create compelling performances. Alongside my professional work, I have extensive experience supporting young adults, helping them build confidence and reach their full potential in preparation for drama school auditions.
I gained my own place at drama school on my first attempt, having prepared independently, and I have a clear understanding of what audition panels are really looking for. My teaching is rooted in laughter, honesty, and integrity, and I can guide you in choosing the right audition material for you. Above all, my aim is to ensure you feel self-assured, confident, and fully prepared going into any drama school audition.
