About Saskia
Hi, I’m Saskia, a friendly and enthusiastic tutor from Oxford, England. I recently graduated from King’s College London and spent the past year as a teaching assistant at a secondary school.
My journey with children and young people started at 16 as a playworker and youth worker, and it’s been a rewarding experience ever since! I’m now starting a Journalism MA at City, University of London, and I’m really excited to bring my experience and love of English to tutoring work alongside my studies.
I’ve always been passionate about reading and writing, but I fully understand the challenges they can pose. I believe language and literature are vital not just for exams but for exploring new worlds and developing practical literacy skills needed in everyday life.
