About Hannah

Hi, I’m Hannah! I recently completed my MSc in Neuroscience at King’s College London, and before that, I studied Molecular Life Sciences while living in Hamburg for three years. I have a deep love for the German language and culture, and I aim to help students not only understand German but enjoy it as much as I do. I have extensive experience tutoring German as well as science subjects, and I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance. My lessons are designed to strengthen subject knowledge while fostering independence, motivation, and self-belief. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, combining structured explanations with interactive exercises, practical examples, and personalised support. Whether the goal is exam preparation, improving language fluency, or building a deeper interest in the subject, my role is to make learning engaging, achievable, and rewarding. I am committed to helping students develop confidence, skills, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. Lessons are available online and in-person, with flexible scheduling.

About the lesson

I offer engaging, personalised German lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Whether you need help with schoolwork, exam preparation, or conversational practice, I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals and learning style. My methodology combines clear explanations of grammar with interactive exercises, speaking practice, and real-world examples to make German both understandable and enjoyable. I believe learning a language should be dynamic and motivating, so I focus on building practical communication skills as well as academic success. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but I can adjust the length to suit younger learners or intensive exam prep. I hold a Certificate of Excellence in German, studied in Germany for three years, and have been tutoring German for over 8 years. Alongside my strong academic background, this experience has taught me how to create lessons that are structured, supportive, and confidence-building.
