About Alejandro
When it comes to writing, I prefer to keep a sense of brevity while making sure all major points of an assignment are addressed, a paper is much easier on the eyes if it's kept at a reasonable length after all. Aside from that however, I'm a relaxed and easygoing kind of tutor who writes at a college level. Because writing is a personalized activity with no definitive right or wrong answers to assignments, I enjoy letting tutees find their own style of writing while helping them in addressing their main points and in correcting grammar and spelling errors.

I am a recent graduate of Kean University, who also happened to be employed by that very same university as a tutor specializing in all subjects within and relating to Language Arts. Most of my experience at tutoring comes from helping those in still in high school and particularly in college levels with their writing assignments.
My methods as a tutor are simple, as I'd prefer for the tutee to show me both their assignment and their instructions so that I may give the best advice I can on how to proceed, where to look for information and how to repair their grammar errors, generally on a piece of paper or a Microsoft Word document written like a roadmap so that they may remember it all for later when I'm not around. All I ask of tutees is that they bring their assignment instructions and sources they plan on using so that we may read them aloud together and reach a mutual understanding of what they're looking for and how to reach it.
My preferred tutoring style is to-the-point when it comes to advising one on how to write their papers, and I encourage tutees to write similarly in order to reduce unnecessary fluff while providing as much vital information as they can in each paragraph. I'm social and easy going and aren't one to criticize harshly or unfairly, as I believe that there's no single correct way to write, for writing is a very personalized and open ended activity so as long as the main topic is addressed.
