About Maguen
My name is Maguen (pronounced as Megan) and I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics. I also attended the University of California, Santa Barbara to complete some undergraduate requirements. During my free time as a student frequently myself helping younger students. I volunteered as a Math tutor, offered beginner English lessons, advocated for undocumented youth, and helped organize an informational presentation about college for a group of underrepresented high school students.

All students are different, my sessions will adapt to your learning needs and pace. Lessons are based on your current coursework, notes, and homework. However, if you would like to gain more understanding I will help you move at a faster pace. I prefer to teach with examples to make sure you understand how the concepts all tie in together. My goal is to make you feel comfortable in your math course so you can tackle any problem.
