About Bailun
Hi! I'm Bailun Song, you can call me Byron. I'm currently a graduate student from Imperial College. For me, it's really enjoyable to teach somebody. It's actually a reinforcing process for myself, to learn again and get better understanding what I will teach. And everytime I learn, I will get something new. Thanks to the experience tutoring my colleges, I found myself getting deeper understanding of the finite element method. So yes, I enjoy teaching.

The approach to teach can be divided into two parts. The first part is to get students interesting to the topic, and let students fully understand the basic logic behind the topic, ask as many questions as necessary till one is satisfied with the explaination. Then follow by the tutorial questions where relevant to reinforce the knowledge. The best way to handle the knowledge is not by remembering but understanding. A typical length of a lesson should be ideally one hour, so the students are not put so much information in their head. Have taught A-level in China for part-time job during summer vacation. Lesson usually for teenagers that in high school that want to improve their understanding to the subject like Math and Physics.
