Working with me ensures acquiring skills while gaining confidence to work independently and eventually helping others! - I work from Creative Writing (prose fiction), English, & Writing textbooks that embrace the current skill level of a student to help them grow and improve their storytelling skills, reading comprehension, sentence structure, and persuasive writing skills.
- A typical lesson plan invloves an intake/assessment lesson that guages the students skill so that I can produce a customized lesson plan highlighting skills that will be focused on to meet the students goals, and to improve their proficiency.
- What sets me apart as a tutor is my lesson structure. I reinfornce information learned prior, and keep students curious and thinking, so they feel confident to work independently and are adding to their tool box of skills and not forgetting ones they've acquired, or how to apply it in their work.
- My English lessons are for a middle school level student. My Creative Writing courses (prose fiction) are for middle school level students to working adults or 12+.This stregnthens works for Writing Competitions, Degree Programs, Workshops, etc.
