About Me

Hi! I am currently pursuing my PhD at University of Auckland and have experience tutoring students from New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Oman. I teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for students from Year 5 to Year 13 following NCEA, Cambridge, and Edexcel syllabuses.

My teaching approach is friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on simplifying difficult concepts, strengthening problem-solving skills, and building confidence through clear explanations and exam-focused preparation. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their understanding and achieve strong academic results.

About Me

Hi! I am currently pursuing my PhD at University of Auckland and I am passionate about helping students achieve academic success with confidence.

I provide tutoring in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for students from Year 5 to Year 13, covering NCEA, Cambridge, and Edexcel syllabuses.

I have experience teaching students from multiple countries including New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Oman, which has helped me understand different learning styles, curricula, and academic expectations. Over the years, I have worked with many students to improve their understanding, confidence, and examination performance, and I am proud to have helped students achieve strong academic results.

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and highly personalized. I focus on:

* Improving problem-solving skills
* Exam preparation and past paper practice
* Building confidence step-by-step

I believe every student has the ability to succeed when guided with the right teaching approach and support. Therefore, I adapt my lessons according to each student’s pace and level of understanding to make learning more effective and enjoyable.

As a PhD student, I strongly value discipline, critical thinking, and structured learning, and I aim to pass these skills on to my students while creating a comfortable environment where they feel confident asking questions and learning without pressure.
