About Solal

I hold a Master’s degree from one of France’s top two engineering schools, admitted after two years of highly intensive mathematics preparation. Ranked in the top 10% nationwide in the competitive entrance exams, I developed strong rigor, efficiency, and high-level problem-solving skills.

Having taken numerous demanding exams under strict time constraints and high expectations, I understand the pressure students face. I help them improve time management, methodology, and most importantly, confidence when approaching exams.

My approach is professional yet supportive. I focus on identifying key weaknesses and addressing them strategically to create meaningful progress. I maintain open communication with parents to ensure alignment with expectations and long-term goals.

I design tailored programs including an initial assessment, structured methodology, and continuous progress tracking. For high-achieving students aiming for top results, I also provide advanced problem-solving training to push their performance to the highest level.

About the lesson

I begin by understanding each student’s goals: improving grades, preparing for an exam, analysing a failed test, or developing stronger methodology and problem-solving confidence. I believe maths is as much about mindset as it is about technique.

After assessing the student’s level, I identify weak areas and design targeted sessions adapted to their needs. We review key concepts together, work through structured examples, and practise with carefully selected exercises to build both understanding and autonomy.

Lessons start from 1 hour, though I generally recommend 1.5 to 2 hours to allow deeper work and real progress.

With two years of private tutoring experience, all my students have achieved significant grade improvements and reached their academic goals.

My lessons are suitable for students aged 14 to 20, from HSC level to first-year university — whether you need to rebuild confidence or aim for top performance.
