About Olivia
Hi! My name is Olivia Duff, and I’m a postgrad student at the University of Edinburgh. I write poetry, but have a passion for classical studies and oftentimes bring that into my work. Making English and literature accessible is very important to me. I believe this subject is for everyone, and I aim to be as inclusive and helpful as I can.

My style of tutoring is very collaborative - it’s focused on understanding. I will work with you to break down concepts in a way that best suits your style of learning. Whether it’s understanding literature or brainstorming an essay, I’m here to help in any way I can. I’m a copy editor and writer by trade, and am currently in a postgrad creative writing program, so I have a lot of experience with English as a subject area. My lessons will not only help with writing, but teach you how to think about it.
