About Dalton
I really enjoyed math in middle school, and was placed in an advanced section of algebra with an additional geometry class that really helped along the way. In high school, I took the option to test out of pre-algebra by taking a book home with me and doing 130 lessons on my own, which provided the opportunity to take Calculus 1-3, linear algebra, and differential equations before I got to college.

I like to get a basis of where the student is at with their skill sets, then either develop a program to improve their areas of weakness (if the student is not currently enrolled) or provide extra practice problems that they may work on at home. I provide lots of visual representations and have many algebraic "tricks" that have proven to help students understand what is going on in the problem at hand. I provide lessons anywhere from middle school to upper level math and physics courses in college.
