About Daniel
I am a recent graduate of East Tennessee State University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics with highest honors. I pride myself on being a good communicator, and in distilling complex topics into simple building blocks, as I find that to be the best way to learn. Throughout high school and college I was always put off by the lofty approach that textbooks took, where they always speak to the expert, and never to the person trying to learn from the bottom up. My approach is the exact opposite, as my goal is not just to teach, but to teach in such a way that you will learn and truly understand.

Many of the great physicists in history approached problems in the natural world through intuition and thought experiments, in order to first develop a concrete understanding of what it is they were dealing with. Having studied physics and mathematics extensively, I have learned that this is the most effective way to approach things, and this is how I teach my students. I am available to teach 6th-12th grade physics and mathematics. I have studied both mathematics and physics at the undergraduate and graduate level, through self study and university education, and I can promise to effectively communicate my knowledge in as simple a manner as possible.
