About Benjamin
As previously stated, I am a graduate from East Tennessee State University in English with an emphasis in education. I am currently working on my Master's degree in the same field from Grand Canyon University as well as holding a position as the 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher at my local elementary school. While I am teaching in those grade levels, I am certified to work anywhere from 6th grade to 12th grade and understand more complex texts than what I teach every day.

I understand that English, especially writing, can seem like a fearful undertaking, but by working on specific skill sets and challenging oneself past what one thinks they are capable of, these stigmas and fears will be alleviated. Literature and other written works are (what I believe to be) the most beautiful artistic form that can take us to different worlds, allow us to live multiple lives through various characters, and force us to feel a plethora of emotions. I would love to be able to help guide you through the struggles that you might be facing.
